Pump Station

The Watson Hill pump station (50 HP duplex) and force main was designed and constructed to serve the Watson Hill Development in North Charleston, SC. Total pump station and force main capacity was designed at approximately 500 gallons per minute, serving both residential and commercial districts. Flows are routed to the pump station by a gravity sewer system. Wastewater is then pumped from the pump station through approximately 17,676 linear feet of 10-inch force main and ties into a 12-inch, 13,710 linear feet, force main. Flows then are routed to an existing receiving manhole located at a Dorchester County regional pump station.
