K-12 Schools
SW+ provided landscape architecture and civil engineering services as part of a design team for the District 4 Stall High School in North Charleston, SC. The new 1,500-student school has three wings containing a cafeteria, gymnasium, media center, and multi-purpose room in addition to classroom space. Due to the smaller than average site, the design team faced significant challenges. Careful placement and engineering of the fields, access roads, and parking areas was necessary to attain the desired high school facilities.
