Nexton is a 4,500-acre planned mixed use development (PD-MU) located in Summerville, SC. SW+ developed the master plan and completed the civil engineering, landscape architecture, permit coordination and construction administration for the 16-acre shopping center in the heart of Nexton. In addition to the more than 25 shops, restaurants, and personal services such as health and beauty, Nexton Square offers public open space for casual gatherings. All aspects of the commercial development was designed to meet the Nexton Design Committee guidelines as well as the client’s goals.
