SW+ was commissioned to provide civil engineering services and streetscape design for the new Elan Midtown development in downtown Charleston. The mixed-use plan for Elan Midtown is a combination of 200 luxury apartment units, 6,000 SF of office space, and 7,000 SF of retail space. The complex site was engineered to accommodate features such as a below-grade parking garage, an uncommon amenity in the urban fabric of Charleston’s historical district.
