SeamonWhiteside’s relationship with Converse College includes renovation and expansion of the Senior Village, establishment of the Rose Garden and design of the award-winning Johnson Plaza.
The Johnson Plaza, sited within one of the college’s primary sacred landscapes, has become a transformational project for the College, serving as the setting for newly established campus traditions, significant campus events, and informal gatherings.
Recipient of Best in Class, Brick in Architecture Awards, 2015 and the South Carolina American Society of Landscape Architects Merit Award.
