In collaboration with other nationally recognized architecture and landscape architecture firms, SW+ provided master planning, landscape architecture and civil engineering services for this $32M corporate facility.
The 68,000 sq. ft. new corporate offices and technology campus for Automated Trading Desk (ATD) is situated on a 22-acre infill parcel located in the heart of Mount Pleasant, SC. The challenge for the design team was to meld an innovative electrical/communications infrastructure with a flexible workspace interior and an environmentally conscience, aesthetically pleasing exterior. Numerous historic live oaks and wooded areas were successfully integrated into the facility’s exterior design. Landscape architects and engineers worked diligently to incorporate sustainable design elements, such as pervious surface parking areas, an elaborate stormwater pond system and water features reminiscent of natural creeks and marshes, in addition to numerous walkways, terraces, and gardens.
