Part-Time Accounting Clerk – Mt Pleasant

Summary/Objective:

Accounting Clerk will be responsible for a variety of accounting support tasks; including, but not limited to general journal entries, accounts payable and accounts receivable as well as assistance in producing budgets, forecasts and various financial reports.

Skills/Responsibilities:

-Understanding of general bookkeeping and basic accounting principles
-Proficiency in Microsoft Office; ability to create and manage Excel Spreadsheets
-Hands-on experience with Accounting Software Packages (experience with Deltek Vision is a plus)
-Organize invoices for processing received from vendors and consultants, maintain A/P report
-Collect and post payments received from clients, assistance in tracking Aged A/R
-Compile accounting data for use in preparing budgets, forecasts and financial reports
-Utilize experience to develop new financial reports as company grows and expands in the marketplace
-High degree of accuracy with attention to detail while maintaining confidentiality of company records
-Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines
-Other duties may be assigned by Operations Team

Experience Requirements:

Education:  Associates Degree, preferably in Accounting (minimum)
Accounting:  3+ years
Must have professional references

Project Coordinator/Project Manager Openings

MT PLEASANT & GREENVILLE, SOUTH CAROLINA OFFICE

Civil Engineering Project Coordinator/Project Manager

The successful candidate will serve as a Civil Engineering Project Coordinator/Project Manager, depending on experience, and will be expected to manage multiple tasks in a fast paced environment. Responsibilities will include effective client management, preparation of plans for land development projects, including hydrology and hydraulic studies, reports, site plans, grading and utility plans, erosion control plans and roadway design. Attendance at regulatory land use meetings may also be required. Responsibilities will expand as experience is gained.

This opening is not a structural or geotechnical engineering position.

REQUIRED EDUCATION, SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

The ideal candidate will possess the following skills and experience:

-E.I.T. registration (minimum)
-B.S. degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited college/university – MANDATORY

Advanced AutoCAD and Civil 3D skills – MANDATORY

-1 to 4 years work experience in a similar position – MANDATORY

-Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Experience in design and coordination of work on multidisciplinary projects ranging from preliminary land development through full permitting for all aspects of civil design including but not limited to:

  • zoning issues
  • grading and drainage
  • erosion control
  • stormwater plans
  • road & sidewalk design
  • water & sewer systems
  • subdivision layouts

Prepare engineering design and plan production on a variety of land development projects.
Assist with conducting research, performing site evaluations, and preparing drainage reports.
Coordinate with other engineering teams and the landscape architecture departments within the firm.
Must possess a strong desire for continuous professional and personal development and improvement

Must be able to work independently in a team environment & to effectively manage time.
Must be proficient in a wide variety of software programs, including AutoCAD, Civil 3-D, MS Word and MS Excel

Possess a valid driver’s license.

CAD Tech – MT PLEASANT, SOUTH CAROLINA OFFICE

CAD Technician | Civil Engineering Department

The successful candidate will serve as an entry level (1-3 years experience) CAD Technician for the Civil Engineering Department in the Mount Pleasant SW+ office. Under supervision candidate will be expected to manage multiple tasks in a fast paced environment. Must be willing to learn, take direction, and work within in a team environment.

RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE:

  • preparation of plans for residential, commercial, retail, and office buildings
  • layout water & sewer utilities plans
  • preparation of site plans
  • complete grading plans
  • preparation of preliminary plats
  • perform quantity take-offs and construction cost estimates

Responsibilities will expand as experience is gained.

MANDATORY REQUIREMENTS

  • Strong AutoCAD and Civil 3D skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office programs (MS Word, Excel)
  • A strong desire for continuous professional and personal development and improvement
  • Ability to work independently in a team environment and to effectively manage time
  • Willingness, ability, and commitment to meet task deadlines
